Outdoor Use & Natural Wood Care
When the Outdoor Treatment is selected, the tabletop receives a protective finish designed to improve its resistance to exterior conditions.
Suar remains a natural solid wood and will continue to respond to sunlight, humidity, and changes in temperature. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may gradually lighten its color, while fine natural lines or slight movement may appear as the timber ages.
To preserve the table for longer, we recommend covering it when not in use, avoiding standing water, and periodically renewing the appropriate exterior wood protection. The treatment improves resistance but does not make natural wood completely maintenance-free.
Natural Variations: Each Makai tabletop is naturally unique. Variations in grain, tone, live-edge shape, knots, fine lines, cracks, and natural markings are inherent characteristics of solid suar wood and are not considered defects.
